 FROM A TALE TO ANITALE
From a Tale to AniTale research aims to spot the changes in communication in Turkey since the 1950’s within the framewrok of Turkish pop music.
Why useful?: Pop culture is influenced by the society and the period it evolves in and thus it is a carrier of these influences through time. “From a Tale to AniTale ” study aims to prove that neither pop music nor pop culture is a result of coincidences or nonsense. The study results can prove this. The music taste of young people is also covered in this study.
Method: 500 Turkish pop songs that left a mark throughout the years, and related books, publications and websites were perused for this study. These songs were examined via semiologic and anthropologic methods. |
